We’re a close-knit trio comprised Mom, Jo (also known as Kinty), along with my daughter Hannah and son, Daniel, hailing from Perth, Australia. Though our roots are firmly planted in South Africa, Perth has become our cherished home.

Adventure, nature, and sports are ingrained in the fabric of our family—it’s part of who we are. From early days of simple treasure hunts with the kids to the exhilaration of adventure sports, we find pure joy in seeking out new experiences.

Our current escapade? A remarkable journey – the Camino Portugués, starting in Porto, Portugal and ending in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, where we’ll walk over 260 kilometers in just 14 days. This pilgrimage has long been a dream on my bucket list, and I’m already certain it won’t be our last. The allure of future Camino routes beckons, promising more unforgettable experiences.

For Hannah and Daniel, this marks their maiden voyage to Europe—a continent brimming with history, diverse cultures, tantalizing cuisine, and, of course, exquisite wines. It’s a journey that promises to awaken their senses and expand their horizons in ways they’ve yet to imagine.
